National Law University Webmail
Welcome to the new Mail System at National Law University. The Infotech Committee has replaced the old system with a world-class emailing solution. The new system has many features, some of which are:
- SMTP with SMTP-AUTH, SpamThrottle, DNS, large concurrency
- SPF "Sender Policy Framework"
- Integrated SpamAssassin, ClamAV and Simscan
- Warlock virus and worm loader realtime scanning
- Autoresponder, Mailing List
- Web-based email system, Web-based administration tools
- SMTP roaming via SMTP-AUTH, POP3-AUTH, & IMAP-AUTH
- POP3, POP3-SSL, IMAP and IMAP-SSL
The new system has been designed for security and stability. We are now using the same backend software that Yahoo! uses for it's mailservers. We have taken care to move all your previous emails to the new system, so that you do not face any problems as a user. Log In
You will have to enter your complete email address to log in. For example, if your email address is temp@nlujodhpur.ac.in, and you used to log in with the username temp and your password, you now have to enter the complete email address to in the username field. If you have forgotten your password, email infotech@nlujodhpur.ac.in
Changing Passwords
The procedure to change the email password is different now. To change your password, do the following:
- Log in using your existing password.
- In the top menu, click on "Options"
- On the next page, click on "Account Administration"
- Enter your current password
- You can now set your password, real name, forwarding settings, and vacation auto-responder .
- Once you are finished, click on "Modify User". Remember to Sign Out of the webmail interface once you are done.
